I was working on some law school stuff, yesterday, when the screen hinges on my trusty Dell Inspiron 8500 (now almost four years old) cracked, causing the screen to be about as stable as Jello in an earthquake. It just flopped around however it wanted. So… time for a new laptop. I now have a Sony Vaio FE880E/H, based largely on the fact that it was available on short notice and seemed to be good enough for my current needs. Going longer than a couple days without a laptop was just not an option.

Anyway, I have not posted on here in a long time. That will soon be remedied – get ready!
