K9 Blacklist Agreement

K9 Blacklist Agreement

Blacklist Version: 1.35
Released: September 14, 2004

You must read and agree to the terms below in order to download the blacklist.txt file. This is to protect Robin Keir, author of K9, and myself from any undesired consequences resulting from or related to your use of the blacklist file in conjunction with the K9 executable (.exe).

I understand that, just as with K9 itself, this file is distributed without warranty of any kind, implied or otherwise, including that of suitability for a particular purpose. It is my responsibility to be aware of K9's activities and look for accidentally deleted e-mails, or "false positives."

Further, I recognize that the blacklist I am about to download is agressive in its labeling of spam or Unsolicited Bulk E-mail, and that I should maintain a "whitelist" of approved senders. Whether or not I maintain such list, responsibility for deleted e-mails is mine and mine alone.

I agree to indemnify and hold blameless Robin Keir, developer of K9, and Ed Cottrell, compiler of this blacklist, of any damages, real or potential, resulting from my use of this list.

By clicking the button below and downloading the blacklist file, I signal my agreement with the statements above.

If you would like to be notified when the list is updated, please contact me, and I will add you to my list.

(NOTE: The file will appear in the browser window. Click the File menu, then "save as" and save it as
C:\Program Files\KeirNet\K9\Emails\DB\blacklist.txt,
or in the K9 data directory, if different.
