The quotations I include on this site are chosen based on one criterion only: whether or not they appeal to me. Some I agree with; some I do not. Some I believe are true/accurate/fair; some I do not. Some are serious; some are not. If you find a quotation offensive, well, maybe that was the point! In all seriousness, some of these quotations are pretty intellectually or politically provocative; I don't really enjoy boring, pithy, little sayings. Ignore the quotations or browse at your own risk!
